How to mount fibre optic cables

1. Determine the cable diameter.
2. Cut the end caps to approximate half of the cable diameter.
3. Grease the cable and slide it through the end caps to the appropriate inner cable length.
4. Position the end caps and turn them inside out.
Remove the coating and place the spare fibres in the spare holder.
Put on the splice case(s).
Depending on the amount of fibres, place the appropriate amount of spilce cases, fix the colored fibres and splice them.
Each case has space to hold up to 20 fibres (2 x 10).
The single cases can be fixed by a snap-in interconnection, so the single cases can be opened like a book.
Mount the protection plate above the splice cases.
5. Bolt the cable insertions and protect the end caps.
6. Place the upper half closure and turn back the end caps.
7. To avoid a distortion of the end caps the groove of the end cap must be greased.
Bolt the cuffs well and check the screws.
